The tubes are internally illuminated by 4 CFL style light bulbs(not included)in the whisper quiet built-in blower folding base fan system. This feature provides great visibility attracting customers day or night. The tubes are designed to last under normal outdoor conditions 1 to 2 years. A sandbag area is included in the bottom of the fan base to secure the system in windy areas(sandbags not included). The carry case allows for easy transportation.
